Focusing on Humanity (人間)

Buddhist living in/and/for Contemporary Society

The day’s programme will include academic talks (morning), a light lunch, and a workshop (afternoon).

On the 20th of October 2017 Venerable Miao Shiang (Abbess of Fo Guang Shan London) and Venerable Miao Lung (Fo Guang Shan London) visited Canterbury Christ Church University in preparation for a one-day Forum at INCISE.

The Venerables were received by SMT member Marco Keir (CCCU’s Director of Marketing and Communications) and Professor Bee Scherer (Director of INCISE).

The parties signed a funding agreement for the collaborative Forum and discussed details of the event.
